The timeline is set less by the visible mold and more by what has to be removed, contained, and dried. Building containment, running HEPA air scrubbers, and removing contaminated material are the labor-heavy steps; the larger the affected area, the longer each takes.
Drying is the step people underestimate. If the moisture source left the structure wet, it has to be dried to a verified standard before rebuild, or the mold returns - so a wet crawl space or subfloor can extend a job by several days.
