About Joshua

Joshua Barnes founded Heartland Restoration in 2023 after years of watching Kansas City homeowners get burned by under-trained restoration crews and slow insurance carriers. He built Heartland around three principles: answer every call live, document the loss the right way for insurance, and finish what you start.

Today Joshua leads emergency dispatch, mentors every IICRC-track technician on the team, and personally walks the most complex water damage, mold, and sewage projects from inspection through final walk-through. Joshua holds active IICRC certifications across the core restoration disciplines. Every Heartland technician is trained against the same standard before they touch a customer property.

• IICRC Applied Structural Drying (ASD)
